Design your own Minecraft banner or shield: pick a base colour, stack up to 6 patterns, and copy a ready-to-paste /give command for your Minecraft version.

Layers

The layer at the top of the list is applied first (it is the bottom layer of the banner).

    /give commands

    Craft a banner from 6 wool of your base colour and a stick, then use a loom: place the banner, a dye and (optionally) a banner pattern item in the loom and pick the pattern you want. Each pattern uses one dye. Repeat for every layer, bottom layer first.

    A banner can hold up to 6 patterns on top of its base colour, the same limit the loom and the /give command enforce.

    Use the 1.21.5+ command on the newest versions, the 1.20.5-1.21.4 command for those releases, and the NBT commands for 1.13-1.20.4 and 1.9-1.12. Some newer patterns (like charges, gradients and indented variants) do not exist in older versions and are left out of those commands.
